First and foremost, let me extend my thanks to The Fitness Edge clients and staff for another successful year. Outside the walls of our facility there was a general feeling of chaos and negativity that still remains as the year comes to a close, but we have maintained an upbeat, positive attitude and came out on top. Some of you achieved huge fitness goals and all of you made gains in some way, shape or form. Don’t let it stop here! The upcoming year gives each and every one of you a clean slate, the opportunity to set new goals and step it up a little in every aspect of a healthy lifestyle. Whether it’s adding an extra day of cardio, making small nutritional changes or simply committing to a healthy lifestyle, we can all find some avenue in which to better ourselves.

I am excited about 2009, not only because it’s a chance for a fresh start, but because we are making changes at The Fitness Edge. On the weekends we will offer two new group fitness classes, Power Spin and The Yoga Edge, led by Tina Simmons. Power Spin offers a 45-minute spinning class to give your cardio program an intense boost and The Yoga Edge, a 60-minute workout designed to increase core strength and flexibility, both of which are key components to any workout regimen. Another new amenity that will be offered is Motion Memory Golf. Trainer C.J. Smith will be heading the workout project designed specifically to give your golf game an edge. These new features are being incorporated to give you variety on your journey to a healthy lifestyle.

In closing I want to wish everyone a Happy Holiday and a Happy New Year! ‘Tis the season to give thanks and I am thankful to all of you for your hard work and dedication. I look forward to another year with The Fitness Edge family.
